10 HOUR OSHA

Overview of OSHA Standard

OSHA requires that at least one worker on the job needs to be a competent person.  In order to be certified, workers can complete a 10-hour OSHA course that encompasses various safety topics related to his/her industry.  This training requirement has been proposed by OSHA to make sure that employees are working safely.

Course Description

This course will cover 10 or more subparts of the 29 CFR 1926 Standards for the Construction Industry.  Basic OSHA requirements related to each subpart will be explained through lecture presentation, video, and visual demonstrations.  Unlike many OSHA 10hr courses, Safe-Site, Inc. has worked to make this 10-hour course interesting to the trainees by bringing the job-site to the classroom.  Our main focus are demonstrations that relate to the average job-site, which helps keep the trainees aware and interested.
