Overview of OSHA Standard
There are nearly 13 million slip, trip and fall injuries that occur every year. Many result in lost workdays, broken bones, and injured backs. By understanding how these workplace accidents occur and the necessary preventative measures that can be taken to help reduce the likelihood of an employee becoming a slip, trip and fall victim.
Course Description
Job-site training on slips, trips, and falls along with hands-on demonstration and exercises, including an evaluation of each trainee's ability to understand why slips, trips, and fall occur at such a high rate. Other exercises emphasized will be contributing Accident Factors in the Workplace, Good Housekeeping and Accident Prevention, Worker’s Compensation, Management, Supervision and Employee Commitment, Ladders, Platforms, Scaffolds, Ramps, Docks, Aisle ways, and Floor Openings, and Footwear Issues. All training will be conducted by a competent safety professional.
