CONFINED SPACE ENTRY TRAINING

Overview of OSHA Standard

The OSHA Confined Space Entry Standard 1910.146 set the requirements for safe work practices and procedures to protect employees from the hazards associated with entry into confined spaces.

Course Description

Safe-Site provides a comprehensive review of the standard and its training requirements. The training can be tailored to provide useful information that can be used for identifying, evaluating and classifying confined spaces, or for employees who are required to enter these spaces on a regular basis. Because all confined spaces have unique characteristics, the OSHA required "attendant" and "entry supervisor" training programs must comply with the spaces that will be entered by company personnel. The training session can be used to fulfill the certification requirement of the OSHA Standard and as a necessary tool to help employees work safer during confined space entry.
