Course Description
A rigging training course is a program designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively perform rigging operations in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and logistics. The course typically covers a wide range of topics, including rigging safety, rigging gear and equipment, load weight and center of gravity, knots and hitches, sling angles and tensions, and safe rigging practices. Participants will learn how to identify potential hazards, properly select and use rigging gear and equipment, calculate load weight and center of gravity, and safely rig and move loads in various work environments. The training may be conducted both in a classroom and on a practical level, giving participants the opportunity to apply what they learn in a hands-on setting. By the end of the course, individuals will have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform basic rigging operations safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries on the worksite.
